REHEARSALS

Rehearsals are held every Wednesday night from 7:30 - 9:30pm at the Frontiersmen VFW Post 7545 (110 Elgin Street, Tonawanda NY 14150). Members should arrive 15 minutes early to warm up. A map to the Post is shown below.

On a rotating basis, members are assigned to help in the setup/teardown of chairs, music stands, and percussion equipment in the rehearsal space. These assignments are scheduled well in advance and occur only once or twice a year. At the end of rehearsal, members should help with putting back percussion equipment, stands, chairs, etc.

Members should also help loading & unloading the band equipment truck. The truck typically is loaded at the Post after the rehearsal before a concert, unloaded at the concert venue, then loaded up again after the concert. Equipment stays in the truck until the next rehearsal at the Post, then is unloaded at the next rehearsal.

All members are also encouraged to attend the once-a-month 'business of the band' meetings, which take place after rehearsal.
